50 Cent Brings Out Eminem At SXSW (Full Set)

50 Cent made history at Austin Music Hall, performing his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in its entirety for the first time during headlining duties for the Shady 2.0 showcase at South by Southwest. Surprising onlookers, Eminem sauntered out to deliver his venomous bars on “Patiently Waiting,” returning to perform “Don’t Push Me” and joining the encore for “Crack a Bottle,” “Love Me” and “Till I Collapse.”

Meek Mill And Yo Gotti Perform ‘Don’t Panic’ At SXSW

Wale Brings Out Travis Porter At SXSW

Wale found some of his friends in the packed crowd, as the MMG rapper invited Travis Porter onstage during his Warner Sound set at South by Southwest. Strapped with an electric guitar, Mr. Folarin danced while the rap crew performed the strip club anthem “Make It Rain,” before taking the helm and running through smash records “No Hands” and “Bait.”

2 Chainz Brings Out Kanye West And Big Sean At SXSW

2 Chainz didn’t go to South by Southwest alone, surprising those in attendance by inviting his Def Jam labelmates Kanye West and Big Sean to join him onstage during SOBs’ showcase. After an energetic rendition of his club banger “Dance (A$$),” Sean split mic-duties with Mr. West on “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay,” before the Louis Vuitton Don took over and performed “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”

XXL Unveils 2012 Freshman Class

2012′s Freshman Class breaks out on the cover of XXL‘s fifth annual freshmen special. After careful deliberation, 10 MCs were selected for coveted placement on the controversial list of rappers on the rise.

Decked out in his skater-themed clothing line Trukfit, Weezy encouraged the energized crowd to sing along to his verse on “The Motto” before being joined onstage by Young Money president Mack Maine for an explosive rendition of DJ Khaled’s “I’m on One.”

Wiz Khalifa Announces ‘Taylor Allderdice’ Mixtape Release Date

The wait is almost over. Wiz Khalifa will release his mixtape Taylor Allderdice on March 13, he revealed. Named after his alma mater in Pittsburgh, the follow-up to the Taylor Gang leader’s 2011 mixtape Cabin Fever has spawned the Juicy J-featured “My Favorite Song” and smokers’ anthem “Mary 3x” since its first recording session back in September.

J. Cole rose from the sidelines and wrote a new story during Friday’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. It was Cole’s world, as the Roc Nation rapper dominated both ends of the court en route to an 86-54 win for his East squad. The former college hoops prospect was able to slam home an alley-oop pass from comedian Kevin Hart, then forcefully denied Common’s lay-up attempt with seconds left in regulation.
