As we’re on the heels of the premeir of Drake’s music video for “Fancy” featuring T.I., it’s only right that the history behind the song surfaces!! If you aren’t already in the know, Swizz Beatz breaks things down to MTV in the clip above. The track originally featured Mary J. Blige, until Drake fell in love with it! Pretty interesting stuff!

NBC Miami was recently in the Poe Boy Music Group recording studio with Flo Rida and Billy Blue discussing the unofficial Miami Heat theme song, “We Already Won“. Also in attendence were Brianna, Ballgreezy, & Desloc Piccalo. The other artist on
the song is Brisco, who is currently on tour. Flo Rida talks about his forthcoming album and how the song came about, while Billy Blue talks about how the Lakers match up with the Heat. See what they had to say in the clip above!

Drizzy let the Henny do the talking last night and spilled the beans that he’s wasting no time and has already started recording for his next album!!! Keep in mind, next to drop is his R&B mixtape and at some point he will also be releasing that joint album with Lil Wayne! There’s plenty of Drake to go around!

Sammy Adams and label-mate G. Curtis performed in New York City Monday night in front of a crazy, sold out crowd at Grammercy Theater!!! I actually meant to post this yesterday, but it completely slipped my mind. Weezy checks in once again with the fans and lets us know, among other things, how he’s spending his time behind bars. Less than four months remain until he comes home! Here’s what he had to say:

Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.
