They say there’s no place like home. Earlier this month, Mac Miller revealed the title of his forthcoming debut album, Blue Slide Park, which is named after his childhood stomping grounds. In a recent interview with MTV, the Pittsburgh native dug further into the title’s significance.
“Blue Slide Park is a park in Pittsburgh we grew up at. Being two going down slides and then being six playing Little League and hanging out there, then being older coming back there to drink and smoke and party, running from the cops. And now going back there just to chill out and drink a beer.”
This past Thursday, Rihanna’s LOUD Tour pumped up the volume at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. To close the show, Jay-Z emerged from beneath the stage and assisted Ri Ri on “Run This Town” and “Umbrella”!

Young Jeezy celebrated the 6-year anniverary of his debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 last night with a special concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. Two songs into his set, he brought out Jay-Z to perform “Go Crazy (Remix)”! Later on, the other half of The Throne, Kanye West came out and “Put On”!
