In an interview with MTV for Mixtape Daily, Taylor Gang’s Chevy Woods spoke about Wiz Khalifa convincing him to leave the streets alone to focus on music; his previous mixtape Red Cup Music; performing on the Rolling Papers World Tour; and his upcoming mixtape The Cookout, which he says will feature Wiz on more than half of its tracks!

On Wednesday, Gucci Mane and his protégé Waka Flocka hosted a private listening session for their upcoming collaborative album at Pitchwerk Studios in Atlanta. Before playing the record, Waka Flocka revealed that his sophomore solo ablum Triple F Life: Friends, Fans, & Family is 90% complete. However, he still plans to take a hiatus from rapping after this year to focus on his own label Brick Squad Monopoly. Fasten your seatbelts, Ferrari Boyz races into stores on August 9!

Wednesday night, Kreayshawn co-hosted the Freak Show with Holmes and Big Mac on 104.5 WSNX in Grand Rapids, MI before continuing her tour of the mitten in Flint and Detroit. As you can see from her tweets below, the Oakland native was thrilled to hear “Gucci Gucci” bumpin’ bumpin’ at No. 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 on the countdown. Ha!

During which, Sean fielded questions about Consequence dissing Kanye West, Game’s disses on “Uncle Otis”, his VMA nomitation, Eminem, his supergroup with Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y, Wiz’s relationship with Amber Rose, Kelly Rowland, and more—all while drinking Muscle Milk in preparation for his Perfect Pushup workout. Ha!

On the heels of his anniversary show in NYC Monday night, Young Jeezy announced he will be headlining a U.S. tour in support of his oft-delayed album, Thug Motivation 103, which will be released on September 20! Find out when Da Snowman cools off a city near you…

They say there’s no place like home. Earlier this month, Mac Miller revealed the title of his forthcoming debut album, Blue Slide Park, which is named after his childhood stomping grounds. In a recent interview with MTV, the Pittsburgh native dug further into the title’s significance.

“Blue Slide Park is a park in Pittsburgh we grew up at. Being two going down slides and then being six playing Little League and hanging out there, then being older coming back there to drink and smoke and party, running from the cops. And now going back there just to chill out and drink a beer.”

This past Thursday, Rihanna’s LOUD Tour pumped up the volume at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. To close the show, Jay-Z emerged from beneath the stage and assisted Ri Ri on “Run This Town” and “Umbrella”!

Young Jeezy celebrated the 6-year anniverary of his debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 last night with a special concert at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. Two songs into his set, he brought out Jay-Z to perform “Go Crazy (Remix)”! Later on, the other half of The Throne, Kanye West came out and “Put On”! Bun B, Fabolous, and The LOX also made guest appearances. Thug Motivation 103 in stores September 20!
