Waka Flocka recently teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and surprised 16-year-old Kiyana Lyles with an unexpected 40 plus-minute visit to her hotel room. Kiyana—suffering from kidney failure—was also granted tickets to see an upcoming show of Waka’s, where he has additional special treatment prepared for her.
During his show-closing performance of “Pop The Trunk” at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago last Thursday, Yelawolf surprised those in attendance by bringing out Travis Barker on drums!
Last Thursday, Wiz Khalifa rolled out his Green Carpet Tour at Emory University in Atlanta. During the show, he brought out his accomplise Young Jeezy for the debut performance of their “Homicide (Remix)“! Chevy was more than just some innocent bystander, as he recited his verse as well.
Saturday night, my fellow Michiganders and I were reminded that Lil Wayne is music when his I’m Still Music Tour rolled into the Palace of Auburn Hills! The show included performances from Travis Barker, Yelawolf, The Cool Kids, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Mack Maine, Jae Millz, Lil Twist, Shanell, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Cory Gunz, and of course—Mr. Carter. Thankfully for those of you who either were not in attendance, or were and would like to relive the experience, Chris Hart was merely a few feet from the stage and managed to capture footage throughout the night. In celebration of yesterday’s release of his major label debut album, Rolling Papers, Wiz Khalifa performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC! Special guests included Jay-Z, Waka Flocka, French Montana, and Trae The Truth, among others. This particular video features strategically compiled footage from last night’s festivities, including a point during Wiz’s performance of “When I’m Gone”—his album’s opening track—where he’s overcome with emotion to the level of tears.
